Brian Austin Green is crediting Reese Witherspoon for keeping his and Megan Fox's baby news out of the media until they were ready to announce it.

"I’ve been wanting to send Reese Witherspoon flowers for, like, a month and a half now, ’cause she actually gave birth [the same day as] us in Santa Monica," Green told Ryan Seacrest during his radio show as quoted by People.

Witherspoon gave birth just hours before Fox so the couple was able to remain under the radar at the hospital.

"We were there for two days and nobody knew and we heard that Reese was at her place and had had a baby. And we got out of the hospital and nobody knew, and we got home and thought, 'This is unbelievable, 'cause we weren't expecting to be able to get away with it,'" Green explained according to E! News.

It wasn't until October 17 that Fox took to her Facebook page to finally announce that they had their son, Noah Shannon Green, on September 27.

"He is healthy, happy and perfect," Fox wrote in the announcement on Facebook.

Green is also father to another son, 10-year-old Kassius Lijah, who he had with actress Vanessa Marcil. But now that he's welcomed his second son he admits he's starting to feel his age.

"I really felt young for my age until my new son was born. I’ve never felt so 40 in my life. He’s really good — he sleeps but it’s only in three hour increments," Green revealed as reported by People.
