Taylor Hackford and Sera Gamble are working together on The CW's new Navy drama titled Norfolk.

According to The Wrap, Gamble is on board to be the show's writer and executive producer while Hackford will executive produce and direct. Rizzoli & Isles's Bill Haber will also executive produce.

Norfolk will be about the lives and loves of the young people at the Norfolk Naval Station, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter. No cast has been announced yet.

Gamble has written and executive produced The CW's Supernatural and Hackford received two Oscar nominations for Ray, the 2004 Ray Charles biopic, according to The Wrap.

Gamble is developing a medical drama for ABC as well and Hackford directed Parker, a crime thriller starring Jason Statham, which will be released in January.

The CW will also be working with other big names to develop new dramas. Those names include Mila Kunis, Reese Witherspoon, J.J. Abrams, Rob Thomas and Bret Easton Ellis, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
