Fox has revealed the official release date for the Fantastic Four reboot slated for March 6, 2015, a year already filled with highly anticipated movies.

The superhero team reboot joins a list of big movies set to be released in 2015. The list includes The Avengers 2, Ant-Man, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part II, Star Wars: Episode VII as well as The Justice League, which is rumored to be released that summer, according to Examiner.

Entertainment Weekly reports there isn't any casting information at this time but the film will be directed by Josh Trank. His previous works include Chronicle and the television series The Kill Point.

There are also rumors going around that Fox may attempt to tie the rebooted Fantastic Four into the continuity of the X-Men movies in order to have the superheroes team up at some point.

The previous Fantastic Four films were titled Fantastic Four, released in 2005, and Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer, released in 2007. Both films starred Ioan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba, Michael Chiklis and Chris Evans, who is now Steve Rogers aka Captain America.

Only time will tell who will take over as the new Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch and Thing.
