Jaimie Alexander and Peter Facinelli have been rumored to be dating ever since the Breaking Dawn - Part 2 screening in November but now the actress is talking about their relationship.
"We've been friends forever and had a lot of mutual friends and we reconnected in the middle of the year. It was one of those things where I'd been single for a very long time and he was going through a lot. We sort of bonded," Alexander revealed to People.
Facinelli and his wife of almost 11 years, Jennie Garth, divorced in March, reports Yahoo News. He went on to work with Alexander on HBO's Nurse Jackie.
"It's very new to me and it's scary. But it's also something we don't want to give up on because I know how it makes me feel in my heart, … It makes me feel really good. He's a good guy with a great family and I couldn't be any luckier," Alexander continued.
Alexander's upcoming work includes The Last Stand with Arnold Schwarzenegger, due out on January 18, 2013 and Thor: The Dark World, scheduled to be released on November 8, 2013.
Facinelli is at work filming the horror mystery Gallows Hill, scheduled to be released sometime next year.
