NBC has confirmed that Jason Alexander will guest star on Community's fourth season.

The network and Alexander have not revealed any details about his character but the actor tweeted Tuesday, "Filming a crazy episode of COMMUNITY this week. Can’t say much about it but it’s a fun one."

This news comes after it was announced last month that Chevy Chase is leaving Community. Chase had a standoff with Dan Harmon, the show's creator and former showrunner, and apparently used the N-word when he complained about his character, Pierce Hawthorne's, racism, reports The Wrap. Chase's character will appear in most of season four's episodes though.

Community returns for its fourth season on February 7, 2013. Other guest stars besides Alexander include James Brolin, Malcolm McDowell, Giancarlo Esposito, Tricia Helfer, Brie Larson, and Matt Lucas, according to Entertainment Weekly.
