Martin Sheen has revealed that he will be returning as Peter Parker's Uncle Ben in The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

"They've called me back, I don't know what the part is gonna be, but I'm going to be 'Uncle Ben' once again in Spider-Man next year. We shoot in February," Sheen said as quoted by Aceshowbiz.

The actor didn't have many details on how Uncle Ben, whose death led Peter Parker to become Spidey in the first movie, will return, but Sheen will probably appear in a flashback or dream sequence. Fans will just have to wait and see.

Other casting news includes Jamie Foxx as villain Maxwell Dillon aka Electro.

"I think Electro will be an exciting character to play because he's a … genius electrician-type person, and he gets the short end of the stick from the whole world, and the next thing you know he turns it on," Foxx said, according to Examiner.

Andrew Garfied and Emma Stone are set to return with other new additions that include Dane DeHaan as Harry Osborn and Shailene Woodley as Mary Jane Watson.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is set to hit theaters on May 2, 2014.
