Cougar Town actress Courtney Cox talked about her ex-husband David Arquette with Ellen DeGeneres on The Ellen DeGeneres Show revealing that he is still her best friend.
"I appreciate David more now than I ever did," Cox told DeGeneres during the interview scheduled to air Monday, reports E! News.
She continued saying, "I mean…It's hard. I don't recommend divorce in general but you know, he is my best friend and we've both grown and changed and I think we both appreciate each other more. I hope he does. I do."
It's no surprise that Cox and Arquette, who costarred Scream, are on good terms since their split seemed amicable, according to People. The two initially separated in 2010 and sought joint legal and physical custody of their 8-year-old daughter Coco in their filings.
Cox also supported Arquette through his treatment in rehab and his comeback on Dancing with the Stars, reports The Huffington Post.
