Christopher "Notorious B.I.G" Wallace is one of the greatest rappers of all time. He was known as Biggie, Biggie Smalls, Big, Big Poppa, or Frank White. He was a favorite of many Brooklyn natives, including myself. Biggie was a rapper that was known for his metamorphic rhymes, his story telling in his rhymes, his love for the ladies, and his sense of humor. But, with fame and fortune come trials and tribulations.

Back in the 90's East and West coast rappers were combative with each because of Tupac's shooting at a recording studio in New York city. Tupac and his entourage thought Biggie and his crew set him up to get shot. And once Tupac made that assumption the rap industry was at it's worst. Within a six month time frame, Tupac and Biggie lost their lives to gun violence. Tupac died in Sept '96 and Biggies died on March 9th, 1997. Biggie was only 24 years old but today, March 9, 2013, is his death anniversary. He died 16 years ago but Biggie's is still a pivotal figure in rap music. His legacy was kept alive by the recording of two unreleased albums, the film Notorious produced by his mother, Voletta Wallace, and Diddy, and his top singles are still played in clubs.

And to honor Biggie on the anniversary of his death, we've listed the top 10 singles that Biggie fans remember the most. These are the songs that fans know word for word.
