The long awaited premiere of the All My Children online reboot premiered on Hulu, Hulu Plus and iTunes yesterday with SORAS’d characters, updated locales, new characters and burning questions.

The All My Children online reboot picked up five years after the final episode which aired in January of last year. For those who need a quick recap, it was Adam and Brooke’s engagement party and an unhinged JR shot someone in a room filled with all of Pine Valley’s best known residents, but fans never saw who JR shot.

Its five years later but certain Pine Valley citizens are still carrying emotional scars from that fateful night. Brooke still has nightmares despite Adam trying to calm her with his declarations of love, they never made it to the altar after that night but are still together. Opal is as quirky as ever in an updated looking home as her and Palmer’s SORAS’d son, Petey, [played by Robert Scott Wilson] returned to town to save his father’s company. Bianca is back to with her daughter, Miranda, [played by Denyse Tontz] who’s been SORAS’d to be a teenager along with AJ, [played by Eric Nelsen] JR and Babe’s son. Jessie and Angie are back as well basking in happiness though danger looms over Angie’s slightly SORAS’d daughter, Cassandra, [played by Sal Stowers.] David’s been in jail for five years for manslaughter but who he killed remains a mystery at least for now, Cara (sans David’s baby?) and Griffin are also back caring for an unseen patient, whom Dixie visits and cries over (could it be the noticeably absent Tad?) Dr. Joe Martin is also back in town letting fans know that Tad’s brother, Jake is in Orlando instead of home in Pine Valley. Zach is present as well though not in Pine Valley and without Kendall and new characters Celia Fitzgerald [played by Jordan Lane Price,] Jane McIntyre [played by Heather Roop] and Evelyn Johnson [played by Francesca James] seem to be mixing in with the aged Miranda and Petey nicely.

With unresolved storylines, absent beloved characters along with new and aged ones in the mix, the All My Children online reboot seems poised to bring Pine Valley into the new age of technology.
