NBC’s The Voice took a hit in the ratings Monday night, while Fox saw ratings for The Following’s finale actually climb. Over at CBS, sitcoms were up and ABC’s Dancing with the Stars continued its season decline.
ABC surprisingly took the most viewers on the night with 12.38 million, but its 2.0 18-49 rating was behind both NBC and CBS. DWTS had 12.87 million viewers for its first hour and 13.63 million for the second, notes HitFix. Its 2.0 18-49 rating was a low for a performance episode. Castle followed with 10.63 million viewers and a 2.0 18-49 rating.
NBC was in second with 10.24 million viewers, but scored the best 18-49 rating with a 3.4 average. The Voice had 12.08 million viewers for the first hour and 12.82 million for the second. According to The Wrap, its 4.1 18-49 rating tied the season low and was a 16 percent fall from last week. Revolution had 10.6 million viewers and a 2.0 18-49 rating, tying the season low it reached last week.
Fox had 7.44 million viewers and a 2.3 18-49 rating. Bones’ season finale had 7.11 million viewers and a 2.1 18-49 rating, while The Following finale had 7.77 million and a 1.6 key demo rating. It will be interesting to see if that’s enough for a renewal since it was up 8 percent over last week.
CBS fell all the way to fourth with just 7.32 million viewers tuning in to its sitcoms, although most of them were up over last week. How I Met Your Mother had 6.89 million viewers and a 2.7 18-49 rating, while Rules of Engagement jumped to 6 million and a 2.0. 2 Broke Girls hit 7.69 million viewers and a 2.5 18-49 rating, while Mike & Molly had just 7.9 million and a 2.3 rating. Hawaii Five-0 finished the night with 7.69 million viewers and a 1.7 18-49 rating.
The CW’s Oh Sit! had just 797,000 viewers and a 0.3 18-49 rating. 90210 barely registered with 515,000 viewers and a 0.2 18-49 rating.
