Dame Helen Mirren was given one of Britain’s top honors as she was named the best actress for her role in The Audience at the 2013 Oliver Awards.

Mirren was praised for her role as Queen Elizabeth in the Peter Morgan play, which focuses on Elizabeth’s work and meetings with 12 British prime ministers throughout her years, Reuters reports.

Upon accepting her award from Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe, Mirren commended the Queen saying she put in the “most consistent and committed performance of the twentieth century and probably the twenty-first,” Sky News reports.
The ceremony was held at the Royal Opera House in central London and hosted by Hugh Bonneville.

Mirren's Audience costar Richard McCabe received the award for best actor in a supporting role.
The 67-year-old actress was previously honored with a BAFTA for her support in the film and entertainment industry, Reuters notes.

Mirren’s other notable roles include The Queen, Hitchcock and Excalibur. She is slated to star in Dean Pirisot’s Red 2 which hits theaters in July.
