Tuesday night didn’t see much action for the networks in the ratings. Most shows stayed even with their previous numbers, although a bit more people turned in to see how ABC’s Splash ended. But that probably isn’t going to be enough to make ABC think that the show should get another season.
CBS lead the night 12.38 million viewers, but was just behind NBC in the key demographic with a 2.2 18-49 rating. According to Hitfix, NCIS slid a bit to 16.99 million viewers and a 2.9 18-49 rating, although it was still the most watched show of the night. NCIS: LA followed with a hair over 13 million viewers and a 2.4 18-49 rating. Golden Boy dipped to 7.12 million viewers and a 1.2 18-49 rating.
NBC had 9.44 million viewers and a 3.0 18-49 rating, the best average on the night. The Voice kicked things off with 11.1 million viewers and a 3.6 18-49 rating, a 8 percent drop, notes The Wrap. Grimm, which started at 10:01 p.m., had 6 million viewers and a 1.9 18-49 rating, which was actually the best rating for the hour.
ABC had 7.67 million viewers and a 1.3 18-49 rating. The Splash finale had 4.35 million viewers and a 1.0 18-49 rating, which EW notes is a 11 percent jump. However, it earned the worst rating of the night, so don’t expect ABC running to find new celebrities who want to jump off a diving board. The Dancing with the Stars results show had 10.5 million viewers and a 1.7 18-49 rating, while Body of Proof had 8.14 million viewers and a 1.4 rating.
Fox was in fourth with just over 4 million viewers and a 1.8 18-49 rating. Hell’s Kitchen had 7.67 million viewers and a 1.9 18-49 rating, while New Girl had just under 4 million and a 2.1 key demo rating. The Mindy Project had 2.7 million viewers and a 1.3 18-49 rating.
The CW’s Hart of Dixie finale drew 1.24 million viewers and a 0.5 18-49 rating.
