This episode entitled “Variations under Domestication” focused on three plot lines. The first focused on Allison and Donnie. The second focused on Paul and Sarah. The third focused on Cosima and Delphine.

The first plot line that needs to be focused on has to be Cosima and Delphine. This plot was the simplest to follow but might have the most ramifications. First, Cosima likes Delphine. The two women decide to go to a lecture about neo-evolution. The lecturer talks about the next stage of human development and how people should embrace change. Delphine has taken an interest in his ideas and Cosima thinks he is nuts.

The two ladies decide to steal some wine from the after lecture brunch and they run out. We see their relationship blossom even though Cosima does not completely trust her because Delphine might be a monitor. Cosima wants to get high with her. In the last moments of the episode, we see Delphine entering a hotel room. The lecturer waits inside. Delphine pretended not to know him while she was with Cosima. Then we see them in an intimate moment.

The second plot line focused on Allison and this one has the most overlap but it has the weakest resolution. Allison looks at the video on her spy camera. She is upset that Donnie got up in the middle of the night. Her perspective is incomplete because the memory card was full. So she decides to hit him with a golf club and tie him to a chair in the basement.

She asks what was really in the black box. At the same time, Allison has to deal with a party. So she gets Sarah and Felix to help. Sarah pretends to be Allison. This plot line ends with Donnie confessing that he had an affair with a woman with lupus. He is not her monitor.

The final plot line is the meat of the episode. This plot focused on Vic, Sarah, and Paul. Vic goes to Felix’s place and figures out that Felix is heading over to Allison’s house. So Vic goes and encounters Felix. Sarah is told that Vic is there. She immediately goes and talks to him in the upstairs bedroom. At the same time, Paul follows Sarah to the house as well because he has a tracker in the car.

He sees Allison on the couch and he sees Donnie tied up in a room. He also witnesses Sarah talking to Vic via spy cam. Paul encounters the two. Vic pulls out a gun and escorts Paul to the garage. Then Paul kicks Vic’s a$$ and nails his right hand to a lawn chair. This plot line wraps up with Sarah telling Paul that there are at least nine genetic clones.

This episode was awesome. Every second was a suspenseful pain in the butt. This show gets better and better. Orphan Black airs on BBC. Here is a new trailer for the next episode:
