It’s been two months since America saw recent Bachelor star, Sean Lowe, pick his bride-to-be, Catherine Guidici, on ABC’s hit reality TV show, The Bachelor. Now his third runner up, Desiree Hartsock, has gotten her chance to find true love on the popular show. Both The Bachelor and The Bachelorette are filmed beforehand and then aired. Desiree Hartsock’s season has been in production since early March. The 27-year-old star has proven to be a hit, and is adored among audience members, some even coining her as “America’s Sweetheart.” Many fans of the show can’t wait to see her season unfold.

Every episode, the star will go on a minimum of two dates that are self-chosen. At any point during the show, a contestant can be eliminated or can choose to leave if he does not feel a connection with the star. On the first night, Desiree will cut her 25 suitors down to 19 based on their dating performance.

According to Twitter updates, producer Mike Fleiss is wrapping up filming. Fans can see that this season contestants will be traveling to London, Germany, Spain, and Paris, including other countries. Mike Fleiss shared on his Twitter account: “Dez’ journey toward love is going great! I gotta good feeling about this season…”

Desiree Hartsock told People that she is looking for her best friend. She says, “someone who’s going to be spontaneous and adventurous while still being very supportive and caring and who ultimately understands me.”

Hollywood Life reports that Desiree has already chosen the winner and is now engaged to him. She filmed her finale in Antigua early May. Viewers will have to tune in to the show Monday to see whom she chooses. Season 9 of The Bachelorette premieres May 27 at 8/7c.
