When Danny’s ex-wife surprises Danny in the office, Danny is furious at whoever sent the letter to his ex.

Danny demands the staff to fess up. Was it Mindy who sent the letter? Mindy admits she would have if she had known about the letter. Morgan finally reveals to Danny he sent it because he felt like Danny loved his wife.

Because of the breach in privacy (Morgan had gone to Danny’s office to get the letter), Danny fires Morgan.

Morgan leaves the office dramatically as his co-workers avoid eye contact with him. Following Morgan out of the office is his pet dog, which no one happened to know about.

Meanwhile, Mindy and her co-workers are training for the triathlon. And while Mindy trains with Casey, her pastor boyfriend, she receives a proposition from Casey, who asks that Mindy convert to Christianity. This is a big deal.

Later on, Mindy and Danny discover that Morgan has joined the dark side: he is now running the triathlon with the midwives. Mindy and Danny hilariously call Morgan a traitor during an elevator confrontation.

Mindy asks Betsey, the receptionist, for some guidance on the Christian faith, and Betsy suggests Mindy join Bible study. Mindy, however, volunteers to host Bible study at her place without knowing what she’s getting herself into when the whole cast of Sons of Anarchy biker gang shows up.

Betsey shares her heartfelt story on how she found out about her receptionist job, which prompts Mindy to have a revelation. At the end of Bible study, Betsey gifts Mindy a necklace with a cross on it. While Mindy is touched, she now knows what she has to do with Casey.

Before her talk with Casey, Mindy receives a call from Danny, who says he needs her at the race.

Nevertheless, Mindy makes a stop at the church first to converse with Casey. Mindy interrupts Casey teaching Sunday school with a group of kids to tell him that she doesn’t think it’s fair for her to convert for him.

As she talks in front of the kids, Mindy ends up piquing the interest of Sunday school children, who finds Mindy’s Hindu religious views way more interesting than Casey’s teachings.

When Mindy makes it to the triathlon, she finds Danny in a compromising position with Brendan, one of the midwives and Mindy’s former flame.

Brendan keeps telling Danny that his injury is more of an emotional injury and that Morgan had told him about Danny’s problems with his ex.

Although Mindy states that she is ready for the triathlon, her actions speak otherwise when she pukes repeatedly in front of Danny and Brendan.

And even though a tired Danny had already ran one leg of the race, he steps in for Mindy. Danny comically takes off his pants, pulls Mindy’s pink running shoes off her feet, and runs with Mindy’s shoes.

The last leg of the triathlon is between Danny and Morgan. While Morgan has an advantage over Danny, when Morgan sees Danny stumble over, he goes back for Danny. Morgan carries Danny over the finish line, which enrages Brendan.

Brendan trashes the whole finish line area as people around him try to calm him down.

After Danny unsuccessfully tries to win over Morgan to return to work at the office, Mindy drops by to hand Danny a letter his ex had wanted him to read.

As Danny finishes reading the letter, he smiles in a rare moment and calls his ex. Will Danny get back together with his wife?
