While Casey is in the shower, Mindy complains how her boyfriend takes longer than her in the shower, but when Casey invites Mindy to shower with him, Mindy’s gamed to join him.

However, showering with her boyfriend isn’t exactly sexy when Mindy and Casey fight for the hot water, knock down Mindy’s hair products, and get a side of each other that’s not very attractive.

Later at the medical practice, Mindy introduces her protégé, Katie, who’s a pre-med student. Of course, Mindy gloats about how of all the doctors Katie could have chosen, she chose Mindy.

Elsewhere, Danny and Jeremy are in mid discussion, and Jeremy assumes Danny is happy with his ex-wife again, since the photo on Danny’s desk is no longer of his father.

Danny comically corrects Jeremy by saying that that was a photo of his mother!

Betsy interrupts the men to once again remind Danny how much Morgan was part of the practice and how Danny made a huge mistake by firing him. The nurse, who replaced Morgan, walks on by encouraging Betsy to film a music video with the skeleton model.

During lunch with Casey, Mindy brings along Katie and compliments Casey on his volunteer work when Casey surprises Mindy with news of going to Haiti for community service for a year.

Even though Casey believes that he and Mindy can make the long-distance relationship work, Mindy thinks otherwise. Even when Katie comments on how her boyfriend went abroad, he eventually cheated on her. Mindy believes that she and Casey should end their relationship because she doesn’t think she can put a pause on their relationship.

Meanwhile, Danny and Jeremy try to win Morgan back at a vegan restaurant, which doesn’t seem like a restaurant Morgan would dine at.

When Danny and Jeremy see that Morgan has brought the midwives along, they offer Morgan a sizable income, but Morgan declines the offer.

Danny and Jeremy make a big scene about going to Morgan’s favorite steak restaurant, and as much as Morgan wanted to join them, the midwives discourage him from doing so.

Over at Mindy’s apartment, Katie tries to comfort a distraught Mindy, who is lying on her usual spot, the floor. Katie feeds Mindy sour straws and calls Mindy an inspiration.

Furthermore, Katie persuades Mindy to attend a frat party with her.

While Mindy is partying, Danny and Jeremy attempt to sway Morgan by going to his house to lure him with a therapy puppy.

However, Morgan explains the real reason he doesn’t want to come back. There’s no camaraderie at the practice.

Jeremy, then, invites Morgan to the frat party that Mindy had been Tweeting about to show their bond as a practice.

Back at the party, Mindy bumps into Tom, the man she had been crushin’ on in the elevator who married someone else.

As Mindy has a heart to heart conversation with Tom, she hears Katie’s name being chanted and rushes over to see Katie on the stripper pole doing some moves. Mindy gets Katie off the pole and tries to take the pole down (alluding to the Berlin Wall), but instead, Mindy looks to be showing off her own moves on the pole, which rouses the crowd.

After Mindy takes the pole down and angers the crowd, Tom hits on Mindy, but when a drunk Casey shows up at the party, a brawl looks like it’s going to go down. The question is who will win in this fight for Mindy’s heart?
