Two and a Half Men isn’t done with Charlie Harper. Even though Charlie Sheen’s character has been gone from the CBS sitcom for two seasons, the writers are going to finally introduce a lost offspring - his daughter.

Deadline broke the news this afternoon that CBS and Warner Bros. Television are looking for a young actress to join the show in a leading role as Charlie’s long-lost daughter. The character will be in her 20s and will show up at the house - which is now owned by Ashton Kutcher’s character Walden Schmidt - trying to find Charlie.

The site notes that Walden will let her move in and live with Jon Cryer’s Alan Harper. The character will replace Angus T. Jones, who will only sporadically appear in season 11 as a recurring actor.

Two and a Half Men (which should probably turn into Two Men and a Woman) was renewed for an 11th season in April. The show will premiere in the fall at 9:30 p.m. on Thursdays as the last show in CBS’ new two-hour Thursday comedy block. Its lead-in will be the new show The Crazy Ones with Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellar.

Sheen left the show after the show’s eighth season and the character's absence was explained by having him run over by a train.
