It’s official! The Vampire Diaries actress Candice Accola, 26, announced her engagement to her musician boyfriend Joe King, 33, over Instagram while in Florence, Italy.
According to The Los Angeles Times, the couple was vacationing in Italy, travelling around Florence and the Banfi vineyard in Tuscany.
She told the Chicago Tribune in January, “I don’t think I could have a genuine relationship with someone who didn’t love to travel and appreciate new foods.”
Looks like King is the perfect companion for her!

Now Accola’s character, Caroline, needs to get engaged to Klaus on the Vampire Diaries! But that may be wishful thinking.
