Pepsi has pulled the Mountain Dew ad created by musician Tyler, The Creator after it was deemed as racist. The 1-minute-long online ad has been taken off of Odd Future's YouTube channel and Mountain Dew's Green Label Sound website.

The ad shows a white woman on crutches who is asked to choose an African American man out of a line-up. A goat named Felicia, seen in other Mountain Dew ads, is also in the line-up. The goat tells the woman, "Ya better not snitch on a player" and "Keep ya mouth shut."

"I can't do this, no no no!" the woman says as she runs away, with “do” being a play on words in conjunction with Mountain Dew.

According to Billboard, this has been considered as promoting racial stereotypes and downplaying violence against women.

Tyler himself took to Twitter to say that the woman and the goat in the ad were seen in a previous ad, in which the goat was the one to attack her.

He wrote, “IDIOTS THE LADY IN THE NEW MOUNTAIN DEW COMMERCIAL IS THE WAITRESS THAT GOT ATTACK RETARD.”

On Tuesday, Jen Ryan, a spokeswoman for PepsiCo, said once she was alerted that the ad was found offensive it was taken down.
