The Twitter rants, changeling selfies, and aimless wandering in New York have finally culminated in Amanda Bynes’ arrest for possession of marijuana, reckless endangerment, and tampering with evidence.

According to CNN, the former child star was arrested late last night in her Manhattan apartment after drugs were found and after she threw them out the window.

Police were initially called when Bynes was spotted smoking “an illegal substance” in the lobby of the building. Bynes went up to her room on the 36th floor before the police arrived.

The ex-actress allowed the police to come into her apartment where they immediately discovered a bong sitting out on the coffee table. Bynes noticed it too and proceeded to throw it out the window.

The police then arrested her for criminal possession of marijuana, reckless endangerment (no one below was injured by the falling bong), and tampering with evidence - which is a felony charge.

TMZ further reports that as Bynes was led out of the building in handcuffs she shouted, “Don’t you know who I am?”

Bynes was taken to Roosevelt Hospital for a psychiatric evaluation before being booked.

She spent the night in jail and is expected to stand before a judge sometime this morning.
