Amanda Bynes’ recent antics have not gone unnoticed in the last few months. The 27-year-old Easy A star is tired of the gossip, so she spoke out about all the rumors in an interview with In Touch Weekly
“I have no clue [why people say I’m insane]. Every time I’ve heard it, it came from an ugly person’s mouth, so I don’t care,” she told In Touch, adding that all the negative rumors, including those about her being mentally ill, are coming from “people I don’t talk to.”
She adds that she is surrounded by “hot friends” who “have my back until I die.”
In the future, Amanda has hopes that she’ll have everyone talking for all the right reasons. Although she has retired from acting, she’s not done working in show business.
“I’ll design clothes and sing because I want to, not because I need the money,” she said. “I love singing and I can’t wait to start working on an album.”
While Amanda insists she’s fine, her parents are reportedly worried about her. They believe she is going through a “crisis.”
“Her parents just wish the media would leave Amanda alone, because it's only making the situation worse. Amanda is lost and she refuses to get help," said a source, according to Christian Post. "Her parents are powerless to do anything because she is 27 years of age and there is very little they can do.”
