Amanda Bynes was arrested Thursday night for possession of marijuana, felony tampering and reckless endangerment after throwing a bong out the window. Bynes is now claiming the bong was just a vase.
Bynes was arrested in her NYC apartment after a building official called police when they saw Bynes with a joint in the lobby of the building. TMZ reported that Bynes let the police into her apartment and threw the alleged bong out the window after an officer questioned her about it. Bynes was then arrested and taken to a nearby hospital for psychiatric evaluation before being booked.
Bynes appeared before a judge early Friday morning and claimed the bong was “just a vase,” according to TMZ. The 27-year-old actress was released without bail and is set to appear in court on July 9 reported by FOX. The actress was arrested in April of 2012 for driving under the influence after hitting a cop car.
