Amanda Bynes is denying reports that she sent out racist tweets to Rihanna, saying that the posts made were “mocked up” by some of her many Twitter followers.
As we previously reported, Bynes slammed the “We Found Love” singer in a series of racist tweets claiming that she is “so ugly tryin to be white” and followed by saying “Chris Brown beat you because you’re not pretty enough.” Now the troubled actress is claiming that the posts were not made from her.
Despite the fact that a series of websites have provided readers with the screenshots of the tweets coming from Bynes' Twitter handle, she has come to defend herself Monday afternoon saying that the slams were “mocked.”
“I saw a bunch of mocked up tweets about me bashing Rihanna in my mentions,” Bynes began in a lengthy tweet. “I'm followed by so many people that someone is always mocking up fake tweets so I feel the need to address them!”
“Rihanna and I met and I'm sure we'll be in a music video together one day!” she continued noting her desire to have a career as a rapper.
Bynes continued her Twitter rant claiming, “I am allergic to marijuana and alcohol but I smoke tobacco.” These claims followed the What I Like About You actress' Thursday arrest after allegedly throwing a bong out a 36 story window. A doorman claimed the actress was smoking marijuana in the lobby. “Why does Rihanna smoke weed and not get in trouble for it but I smoke tobacco and people think I'm on drugs?” she writes. “I refuse to be treated like someone I'm not, which is why I fought for myself and am suing everyone involved. I don't need to go to rehab.”
The 27-year-old claims that she threw a vase out the window and has “never had a bong”before.
“There is never a drug or alcohol in my system! I'm sick of all the lies!”
Bynes is also suing the NYPD for sexual harassment after she claimed one of the arresting officers “slapped” her “vagina.”
