It’s that time at school again. Its homecoming pinning day aka bloody Tuesday and Jenna starts out worried that her man might just leave her out, just like she had been left out in the past. But low and behold, Matty arrives with a huge pin that reads none other than ‘Mattys Girl.’
But Jenna can’t help but feel bad for the girls that don’t have a pin or a date for the dance and her attention follows one fellow student Christy who looks too depressed to function.
Jenna even goes as far as taking off the pin because she doesn’t want other girls to be jealous of what they don’t have.
The Asian Mafia is back, not that they ever left Ming’s side and Becca needs to call in a favor from Ming and she wants one thing, sabotage the dance theme for Homecoming. Ming decides to go and stick it to Becca but that’s a little hard to do, when the Mafia is always three steps ahead (or 5 steps due to her tiny feet).
In best friend news, Jenna confronts Tamara when she finds out that Tamara can’t keep their secrets, well secret when Matty repeats something that Jenna said in private. I guess in this situation, it’s hoes before bros and Tamara makes a promise that she will never tell Jenna’s secrets to Jake who will then tell Matty. That doesn’t keep long, until Tamara tells Matty that Jenna wishes he would dance with her.
The show then takes a bite out of ‘Footloose’ and Jake takes on his friend responsibility and helps Matty learn some moves that leave Jenna happy and the rest of the lonely girls dancing around their God.
Who said you can’t teach an old dog new tricks?
