Beyonce opened up about the possibility of having more children with husband Jay-Z during an interview on Good Morning America. The Grammy Award winning singer noted that she does want a younger sibling for one-year-old daughter Blue Ivy, but wouldn’t give any indication as to when she hopes to expand her broad.
“I think my daughter needs some company. I definitely love being big sister [to Solange]," she tells Amy Robach according to LA Times.
According toABC News, the “Halo” singer also admitted that she is “very protective” of her daughter.
“I am very protective. I just want to make sure that she can have a healthy, safe, normal life … in the back of my mind, she’s my priority. And life is completely different now,” she explains. “So I’m — I feel really, really just lucky that I can still do what I love, and now have a way bigger meaning. And that’s to be her mother.”
In addition to the European leg of her tour, Beyonce also is excited to reveal Epic, a Chris Wedge directed animation in which she lends her voice to the character Queen Tara. Along with Beyonce, Jason Sudeikis, Steven Tyler, Amanda Seyfried and Pitbull also lend their voices to the animation which focuses on battling the forces of good and evil.
Beyonce explains she is excited for Blue Ivy to see the film knowing that she will recognize her mother’s voice.
Epic is set to hit theaters May 24.
