Just days after the news of Biggest Loser couple Sam Poueu and Stephanie Anderson’s divorce just 2 months before the birth of their son, sources have come forward to state the split is due to Poueu’s continued infidelity throughout their marriage.
"Stephanie felt they weren't connecting and decided they should go to counseling," a source tells People. "It was getting dire."
“In one of the counseling sessions, Sam thought he would make it better by confessing," the source explains. "He [admitted] that he had cheated on her with multiple women throughout the course of their courtship and marriage. He told her everything."
Following the devastating blow, Anderson filed for divorce from Poueu.
People approached the former reality show competitor who explained, “The circumstances and specifics of our marriage and our separation are extremely difficult and private."
Continuing he explains, “Our focus is on Stephanie's continued health through her pregnancy and the delivery of our son. We are excited to be blessed as his parents and are focusing all of our energy and attention on doing what is best for his future. He is the most important person right now to both of us."
Poueu refused to answer any specifics surrounding the demise of their marriage and his cheating allegations.

Anderson and Poueu’s son is due in July.
