Jennifer Lawrence was not impressed with hunky co-star Bradley Cooper’s kissing skills.
Cooper appeared on The Graham Norton Show to promote his latest film, The Hangover Part III , and dished about he and Lawrence’s on screen lip lock in Silver Linings Playbook , for which Cooper was nominated for an Academy Award.
Arizona Central reports Cooper recalled that after the second take Lawrence looked at him and said, “’You’re a wet kisser.’”
“You don’t want to hear that,” Cooper said. “It was not a compliment!”
When asked about possible chemistry off the set of the film, the 37-year-old actor laughed it off saying, “I could literally be her father.”
Cooper and 22-year-old Lawrence will reunite for Serena , out later this year, and are currently filming their third film together, with Silver Linings Playbook director David O’Russell. The film is entitled American Hustle .
Cooper is busy promoting the conclusion to the comedy franchise The Hangover , which he has stood by as a film he is “proud of the work” he put into it, as quoted from an interview with Pajiba .
Despite harsh words from critics, Cooper says that the film, while “it isn’t for everyone”, stayed “true to the spirit of the original film.”
“I think in that respect,” Cooper says, “ III was a success.”
