Oscar nominated Bradley Cooper has dished before about how he enjoys living with his mother. In a recent interview where Jay Leno asked whether or not this gets in the way of his love life, Cooper says it doesn’t affect it because he has no choice.

According to The LA Times, 38-year old Cooper moved in with his mother after his father died of cancer in 2011.

Cooper says in the interview with Leno that he couldn’t do it any other way. Growing up in a very Italian neighborhood, it is normal for children to move back home after a parent dies.

“I don’t think it’s weird,” he said in the interview. Cooper doesn’t let the fact that he lives at home affect his dating life though he jokes with Leno about it.

As quoted by E! Online, last month Cooper told Details magazine, “{My mother’s} a cool chick. We can hang and she can roll with the punches. If that wasn’t the case, there’s no way.”
