CBS’ fall schedule includes five new shows and the network has finally released the trailers for each of them. The new shows include the anticipated new comedy The Crazy Ones with Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellar and the political drama Hostages with Dylan McDermott.
The Crazy Ones brings Williams back to television as the head of an advertising firm, which he runs with Gellar, his daughter. Williams’ character has a huge personality that Gellar has to control so the firm doesn’t lose clients.
Mom is the latest sitcom from Chuck Lorre and finds Faris as a newly sober single mother. She also has to deal with her critical mother, played by Allison Janney.
We Are Men has four single men living in an apartment together. The cast includes Monk’s Tony Shalhoub, Jerry O’Connell, Kal Penn and Christopher Nicholas Smith.
The last comedy is The Millers with Will Arnett as a recently divorced news reporter who gets stuck living with his parents.
The only new drama that will air in the fall on CBS is Hostages, which stars McDermott as a rogue FBI agent who holds a family hostage. Jerry Bruckheimer is an executive producer on the project and Toni Collette co-stars.
