Peter Robbins, the man who voiced Charlie Brown as a child for the classic Peanuts TV specials, was sentenced in court on Wednesday on charges of stalking and making threats. He received a year in jail, but will get to spend the rest of the time in rehab.

Robbins, now 56, was arrested back in January and pleaded guilty to the charges last month. He allegedly threatened a doctor who performed breast-enhancement surgery on his ex-girlfriend. He had paid for the surgery until they broke up and he attempted to get his money back by making threatening phone calls. The doctor claimed that she feared for her life.

According to E! News, San Diego Superior Court Judge Dwayne Moring sentenced Robbins to a year in jail, but he gave Robbins credit for already spending 110 days behind bars and credit for another 110 days for good behavior. The San Diego County District Attorney's Office said that he will spend the rest of the sentence in a residential rehab facility.

Morning couldn't resist using a classic Peanuts line during the hearing, telling Robbins, “Don't be a blockhead,” reports The New York Post. The judge warned that if he violated terms of probation, he could spend four years in prison.

He received five years probation, told to pay the doctor $15,082 in restitution and has to follow a 10-year order to stay away from his ex-girlfriend.

Robbins voiced Charlie Brown for A Charlie Brown Christmas, It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown and three other specials.
