Chief Keef has been arrested for excessive speeding, which is just the latest in his string of legal issues. The rapper, 17, was caught going 110MPH on Monday near Northfield, Illinois.

Keef was driving with three passengers on the Edens Expressway when he was pulled over around 3:45am and subsequently arrested.

He was clocked at 110 in a 55 mph zone," Northfield Deputy Police Chief Claude Casaletto told The Chicago Tribune. "The officers typically sit off on the shoulder and wait for speeders. He came up as a high number."

When the rapper was taken into custody, one of the other male passengers got permission to drive the BMW X6 M home.

Keef, real name Keith Cozart, was cited for going 110 in a 55 mph zone and having too many passengers. He only has a permit, which requires a maximum of one passenger when he drives.

E! Online reports that Cozart’s court date is scheduled for June 17.

Just last week, Cozart was arrested on disorderly conduct charges in Atlanta when cops arrived to his hotel room after hotel security smelled a strong odor of marijuana smoke coming from his room at the LeMeridan Hotel in north Atlanta.

In January, he was sued by a middle school-aged girl who claimed he fathered her baby.
