Chris Brown’s neighbors are not happy with him for the murals that appear on the curbside wall of his home in the Hollywood Hills. Those that live around him are complaining that the colorful monsters painted on the wall are scaring local children.

In turn, the “Fina China” singer was ordered to have the murals down by 30 days or he has to pay a fine. The fines start at $376 for the excessive signage and could go up if Brown doesn’t cooperate.

"There are lots of babies, lots of children, and they're literally frightened. It's like devils on the wall — big scary eyes and big scary teeth, and just the whole vibe is not what we're used to," said the president of the Hollywood Dell Civic association, The LA Times reports.

But Brown’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, said of the complaints "I'm scared of neighborhood busybodies like this. They've called animal control. They have sicced parking [enforcement] on him, and now they reached the heights of ridiculousness here. Shame on them." He added, “They are trying to suspend the 1st Amendment.”

Rolling Stones notes Geragos said Brown will fight the city for citing him with unpermitted and excessive signage.

Brown has tweeted his disdain over the complaints since then, writing, "Keep em inside then! It's art. There are scarier creatures on Harry potter. Get a f**king life!" 'Lords of dogtown' is how I live my life. #Free ima paint until my hands fall off."
