The private jet Chris Brown was traveling in yesterday had to make an emergency landing because smoke filled the cockpit.
The jet was headed towards New Jersey but it had to land in Burbank, California shortly after take off due to the hazardous smoke.
According to TMZ, Brown was headed to Teterboro, NJ and he was traveling in that direction to attend the Met Gala in New York City on Monday night.
"It was A LOT of smoke ... everywhere,” a source told TMZ of the smoke that filled the plane just under 10 minutes after take off. After that, Brown boarded another private jet less than an hour after the emergency landing.
He did make it to New Jersey but didn’t make the Met Gala. However, he made sure to attend the after party.
The NY Daily News reports that Brown’s ex, Rihanna, was also in town for her Diamonds tour. However, he confirmed their break-up yesterday saying she’s “doing her own thang” and they’re too young to be serious.
