Cobra Starship frontman Gabe Saporta and fashion designer Erin Fetherston tied the knot on Sunday at the St. Nicholas Abbey plantation in Barbados. The couple got engaged back in January while on vacation there.
As we previously reported, they dated for two years before Saporta popped the question on New Year’s Eve in Barbados.
33 year old Saporta, who sings about Fetherston in his song “You Make Me Feel,” told People about the proposal last February. "I woke up at dawn to go collect coral and flowers from the beach next to our cottage," he explained.
He added, “I used them to write out my proposal on our patio and then I woke Erin up in a frenzy to come see a 'monkey' that had appeared in our backyard. My sleepy-eyed bride quickly realized the only monkey that morning was me … and of course, she said, 'Yes!' "
People notes that Fetherston wore a dress that she designed. She also previously spoke about her Lorraine Schwartz engagement ring, which she helped design, saying "The platinum was oxidized to give the ring a vintage feeling. I love it because it's luminous and romantic, with the right amount of edge."
