Demi Lovato will start The X Factor this week, but she also revealed other summer plans that won’t be as much fun: she has to get her tonsils out.
During her Live From MTV special, the 20 year old “Heart Attack” singer revealed that she will not be taking any pills to ease the pain, considering her past with drug abuse.
She told the crowd during MTV’s special "Actually, this summer I have to get my tonsils out," adding, “I'm gonna do it without painkillers, though, 'cause I'm a boss. I say that now!"
While she does have a few appearances scheduled, Lovato said she likely won’t be able to tour this summer because of her commitment to the hit Fox show. "I'm not sure if this year is the best opportunity to [tour] because X Factor keeps me so busy,” she said.
Creator Simon Cowell tweeted that he will announce the two judges who will replace Britney Spears and L.A. Reid. Rumor has it that Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio are in final negotiations for the vacant judge seats.
