Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen haven’t always been on the greatest of terms, but they certainly are now. Sheen is grateful to Richards for taking in his twin boys with ex-wife Brooke Mueller as she completes another stint in rehab. For Mother’s Day, he flew her home in his private jet so she could be with their girls; Sam, 9, and Lola, 7, as well as her adopted daughter Eloise, 22 months and the 4 year old twins.
Richards took to Twitter to call Sheen the “great ex” for letting her use his plane. She wrote:
Meanwhile, Us Weekly notes that the Wild Things actress has had temporary custody of Bob and Max since May 3. Her father, Irv, has been helping her raise the brood and was even spotted taking them to a carnival on May 10.
A rep for Sheen said about Richards taking care of the boys, “Charlie supports the actions of the Department of Children and Family Services. He knows Max and Bob are safe in a stable, loving environment with Denise and the boys' sisters."
Mueller is currently serving her 20th stint in rehab. She had the boys taken away from her after it was deemed they weren’t in safe environment with her.
