Denise Richards came to the rescue of ex-husband Charlie Sheen's twin boys, Bob and Max, after Child Services took the boys from their home after it was decided they were in an unsafe living situation. Now the actress is speaking out about her relationship with Sheen just days after calling him the “greatest ex.”
“My situation with Charlie is that we've gotten along for quite some time now, and it's much better, I think," she explained as quoted by People.
Richards recently went to court in the hopes of extending her temporary custody of the boys following Brooke Mueller, Max and Bob's mother, hospitalization for an alleged addiction to prescription drugs.
Richards and Sheen, who were married from 2002-2006 have two daughters together, Lola and Sam.
"One can feel one way and one can feel another way, and there's lots of feelings and emotions there, but at the end of the day we want our daughters to benefit by us getting along," Richards continued. "For myself, I don't want to have an unhealthy relationship with him ... life's too short for that and we actually enjoy hanging out and being with the kids, and it's much easier."
