Following the removal of Brooke Mueller's kids from her home, sources say Denise Richards, other ex-wife of Charlie Sheen, loves the boys and is more than happy to help.
42-year-old Richards recently received temporary custody of Mueller and Sheen's sons because "Social workers felt that Bob and Max weren’t safe in Brooke’s care."
35-year-old Mueller, like 47-year-old Sheen, has struggled with drug and alcohol abuse in the past, and it was determined that her home is no longer a safe environment for the boys.
A source tells Us Weekly of the kids and Richards, "They've been under her care may times before. This isn't unusual. Truthfully, Denise and [her daughters] are the only consistency those poor kids have had."
The source went on to say that Richards "loves" the boys and "would never say no," adding that "The girls consider the twins their siblings. This is their family and Denise would do anything for them."
Richards is a mother of three already, Sam, 9, Lola, 7, and Eloise, 22 months, but the source says that "She would raise 1,000 kids if she could."
Sheen appreciates her help as well, the source stating that he is "truly grateful that [Denise] is here for the kids."
