NBCUniversal’s re-launch of G4 as the Esquire Network has finally been scheduled for Sept. 23.

The Esquire Network, a joint venture with the magazine of the same name, was originally supposed to launch back on April 22, but just days before the launch it was delayed. Esquire Network general manager Adam Stotsky said that they had an opportunity to launch with more original shows if they delayed the network.

By delaying the launch, the network will also get to premiere while the magazine celebrates its 80th anniversary. In a statement, NBCUniversal said that the network will air an 80th Anniversary Special timed with the magazine’s anniversary issue, which is out in October.

“As Esquire magazine reaches such a significant milestone, it only seems fitting that Esquire Network kick off by celebrating the rich legacy of this iconic brand,” Stotsky said in Wednesday’s news release. “And we will build on this unparalleled 80 year history with a new primetime lineup featuring compelling original programming that hits on the wide-ranging interests, aspirations and passions of men today.”

Esquire Network will launch with five new shows. Knife Fight is a series about underground cooking, while The Getaway looks at the best cities in the world with celebrity hosts. How To Rock It is a style show that NBA player Baron Davis will host. Risky Listing focuses on New York’s elite nightlife real estate market. The last show is American Field Trip, a show hosted by photojournalist Matt Hranek.

Brew Dogs and Horse Players were also announced.

The network will also air repeats of other NBCUniversal shows like Psych, Parks and Recreation, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and Burn Notice.

Esquire Network is replacing G4, but NBCUniversal is keeping American Ninja Warrior alive.
