Actor Ethan Hawke revealed that the best on-screen kiss he ever had was with Angelina Jolie in the 2004 psychological thriller, Taking Lives.
Hawke stopped by Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live and reminisced about the steamy moment he had with Jolie almost a decade ago.
Hawke said, “With all due respect – the woman has been in the press a lot recently – but I will say that the best on-screen kiss that I ever had was Angelina Jolie.”
Host Andy Cohen pressed for more details, asking, “What made it so great. Pillowy lips? A lot of tongue? What?”
Hawke answered, “Why is Amaddeus Wolfgang Mozart a genius? I’m talking Angelina Jolie was born to whittle men and to make them weak. When she kisses you, you don’t know your name.”
Perhaps this rave kiss-and-tell review will balance the unflattering one Jolie’s partner, Brad Pitt, recently received from actress Kirsten Dunst.
In March, we reported that Dunst thought that her kiss with Pitt in the 1994 film, Interview with a Vampire, was “disgusting.”
Dunst – who was only eleven at the time – said she wasn’t old enough to appreciate the fact that she got to kiss the man who, one year later, was crowned the Sexiest Man Alive by People magazine.
Hawke recently starred in the romantic-drama film Before Midnight and has a sci-fi flick, The Purge, coming out June 7.
