Emilia Clarke turns 26 today!
Born in London, and grew up in Berkshire, Emilia Clarke fell in love with acting when she watched a stage play Show Boat, where his father, a theatre sound engineer, was working on that time.
She was educated in St. Edward's, where she acted in two stage plays, before she went to Drama Centre London, where Clarke was involved in ten plays, two of them being a commercial, and Company of Angels production, Sense.
After graduating from the drama school, Clarke landed her first television roles in 2009's Doctors as Saskia Mayers, and SyFy's movie Triassic Attack in 2010, as Savannah.
The actress, who was named "UK Stars of Tomorrow" by Screen International, then landed a groundbreaking role in British medieval-fantasy TV series Games of Thrones as Daenerys Targaryen, a show based on George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire.
She won EWwy (Entertainment Weekly) Award for her role as Daenerys.
Other than concentrating on Games of Thrones, Emilia Clarke led the main protagonist role of Broadway production, Breakfast at Tiffany's, as Holly Golightly.
