Nine years since the couple started dating after discovering each other online, the mother and father of Honey Boo Boo, June Shannon and Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson, are getting married today.
According to Access Hollywood, the wedding is to occur in McIntyre, Georgia, and is supposedly being filmed for the hit reality television program Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, featuring the pair's daughter, Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson.
The Huffington Post reports that the wedding will highlight the date with a Cinco de Mayo theme.
US Weekly reports that an invitation discovered by TMZ insisted that guests not bring cell phones or cameras. Apparently, the affair is supposed to be under wraps and such footage could spoil the fun for viewers of the television series.
