Jennifer Lopez is known for her feisty Latin music and her generous figure, but only the latter is being talked about today after she wore an inappropriately revealing outfit on Britain’s Got Talent.
Last night, Lopez performed her new single “Live It Up” on the BGT stage dressed in a leather leotard with feather sleeves and thigh high boots to match, the Daily Mail reports.
After the high-energy performance, the show’s judges showered Lopez with words of adoration.
Simon Cowell said, “Seriously, JLo. If anyone wants to know how you do it. That’s how you do it. Seriously world class.”
Amanda Holden said, “JLo’s arse… I just wanted to bite it! It was fabulous.”
The general viewers of BGT, however, begged to differ. Shortly after the performance aired, many took to Twitter to voice their anger and disgust at Lopez’ bare-skinned display, reports the NY Daily News.
One person tweeted, “Could Jennifer Lopez's outfit be any more inappropriate for a family show??? What sort of role model are you being for the young girls watching?”
Another person quipped, “Only thing missing was the pole. Cover up your cheeks please!”
The independent watchdog group, Ofcom, confirmed that they received a flood of complaints from viewers about Lopez’ skimpy outfit and mature choreography.
Shortly after the show, Lopez posted a picture to Instagram of herself and her hunky backup dancers and wrote: “Thanks @GotTalent for a great night #liveitup.”
Clearly she has yet to respond to the backlash from her spicy performance.
