Jessica Simpson and fiancé Eric Johnson are planning to tie the knot right after the Fashion Star mentor gives birth to her second child. They’re expecting a baby boy, giving daughter Maxwell Drew, 12 months, a baby brother.
Johnson proposed to Simpson in 2010, but their wedding plans have been on hold ever since her two pregnancies.
A source told Us Weekly that at her baby shower in April, Simpson "was telling friends she wanted to get married a few months after the baby is born.”
"Jessica said, 'Let's have this wedding already before I get pregnant with another one!'" the source continued. The couple have cancelled wedding plans twice since getting engaged.
Simpson is already in bride mode, as she’s been a lot healthier during this pregnancy than she was when she was pregnant with Maxwell. She gained 70 pounds during her first pregnancy, prompting her to join Weight Watchers (and become their spokesperson) after giving birth.
She has a chef at the house every day, and a source says "The chef is there all day. Jessica eats things like egg whites and sausage. It's healthier."
The Huffington Post reports Simpson told Ellen DeGeneres in March, “The first pregnancy, I like, let loose and I kind of ate everything that I wanted to eat and I just really enjoyed it. This time around I think because I was doing Weight Watchers and I felt super healthy. I'm not really craving as much and I know how hard it is to get off, so I'm trying to make healthier, wiser decisions."
