Reba actress JoAnna Garcia and Cleveland Indians first baseman Nick Swisher became proud parents of a baby girl this week.
Garcia announced her pregnancy on her twitter account in November 2012. Usweekly reported that Swisher was put of paternity leave this week. The couple met in 2009 and got married at the Breakers Hotel & Resort in late 2010.
Swisher opened up about becoming a dad to Yahoo! In the Road in a recent interview. "I am so excited. I never in a million years thought I'd have a little girl, but over the last six months, the pink and purple dresses that I've bought, I'm telling you. . . My wife, Jo, she says, 'You're going to spoil that little girl so much.' I can't wait, man," Swisher shared. "I talk to her every night. Jo and I, we're so excited to meet her and to bring her in the world and give her a whole lot of love."
Swisher previously played for the New York Yankees and recently played his first game for the Cleveland Indians. Garcia, known for her previous roles on Reba and Animal Practice, had her baby shower on March 17—Cameron Diaz, Lance Bass and Reba McEntire were all in attendance.
