Justin Bieber, who has not yet reached the legal drinking age in the U.S., shared a photo on Instagram of himself drinking beer on friday, May 10 while the singer is spending time in South Africa for his "Believe" tour.
Gossip Cop reports that the 19-year-old wrote a caption of "Beers in the jungle" along with the photo of he and a friend with a can of Amstel. The drinking age in South Africa is 18.
Bieber also shared a picture of an elephant, with the caption, “#InTheWild,” that he spotted during his African safari.
The singer hasn't denied any prior consumption of alcohol and said in the June 2012 issue of GQ that he does drink occasionally.
"For me, it's just like, I like to be in control of myself," he explained. "I mean, I've had a beer, like, before . . . But I never get out of control."
Bieber's behavior during his Believe tour, however, has proven to be rather bizarre or controversial at times.
"I'm young and I make mistakes. That's part of growing up," he told Us Weekly. "I mess up sometimes. It's part of growing up."
