Kanye West went on a rant on Wednesday at a show at New York's Roseland Ballroom, where he proclaimed he will never do a Saturday Night Live skit and voices his disdain for the paparazzi and all things celebrity.
Kim Kardashian’s boyfriend went on a half-singing, half-talking rant where he made it very clear that he doesn’t like being in the public eye and chased down for a photo.
“One thing about me, I'm the worst kinda ... celebrity because all I do is make real music,” he said, MTV News reports. “All I do is sit in the studio and make real, real sh--. And that's it," he said, half-singing. "That's mother----ing it. That's mother----ing it. So I don't want nobody trying to run up on me with no cameras, trying to sell pictures and sh-- to magazines, asking me no dumbass questions, throwing me off of my focus and sh--," he continued. "Harassing you all mother----ing day. I ain't no mother----ing celebrity."
West, who will be performing on the season finale of SNL, also made it clear that he won’t be “humanizing” himself by doing a skit on the famous sketch comedy show.
"I ain't here to apologize to no mother----ers, man,” he said. “It ain't about me humanizing myself. At what point did I become un-human where I had to turn myself back? Or maybe I was demonized. Or maybe I was treated inhumane and not human in that kind of situation.”
Complex, who posted a snipped of the rant, also notes he said “I ain't running for office. I ain't kissing nobody's motherfucking babies. I drop your baby and you sue me and shit. I'm trying to make some music that inspires people to be the best they can be.”
What could have inspired the rant could’ve been his incident last week in which he ran into a sign while walking in Beverly Hills with Kardashian.
