Katharine McPhee is speaking out following the news that her NBC series Smash has been cancelled.
Smash was among the numerous NBC series to be cancelled Friday and McPhee, who played Karen in the musical drama series, has released a statement following the news.
“Sure, I wish that it could have five more seasons, but we had two great seasons and all I can say is I loved every moment of it. I loved getting to the set, I loved the people, I loved my crew. We did amazing things on the show in two years,” she said according to Perez Hilton.
McPhee also revealed the news via Twitter writing, “Yes... smash is officially cancelled. So sorry to everyone who watched and loved it. Had an amazing time and made wonderful memoriesLA Times reports.
In its second season, Smash dipped significantly from before getting only a 0.5 in ratings.
