Katie Couric’s syndicated talk show Katie started with fanfare, as the former Today Show anchor reunited with executive producer Jeff Zucker. But he’s now left for CNN and there has been a revolving door at the position since then. The show has lost another executive producer.

Deadline first reported that Michael Morrison, a former Late Night With Conan O’Brien producer who only joined in January, has left and was replaced by daytime talk show vet Rachel Miskowiec.

Morrison’s departure comes after co-executive producer Michael Bass left for CNN. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Matt Lombardi also left, joining ABC’s 20/20.

Katie is only in its first season and it is rare for a show to undergo so many changes in the span of a year. The show did debut to strong ratings, but those numbers started to drop, since Couric has pushed for important news interviews as opposed to traditional celebrity interviews that dominate daytime. She did land a major interview with Manti Te’o after it was revealed that his girlfriend was fake. That episode frew 3.8 million viewers.

Katie is distributed by Disney-ABC Domestic Television.
