We know Demi Lovato and X Factor creator Simon Cowell are definitely returning to Season 3 of the U.S. version of the show as judges, but there are two vacant spots open at the judging table following Britney Spears and L.A. Reid’s departure.

Considering auditions start in Charleston, North Carolina on Tuesday, Cowell will make an official announcement on Monday as to who will fill those spots. Destiny’s Child singer Kelly Rowland and singer Paulina Rubio are rumored to be the new judges.

Cowell took to Twitter to say:

Rowland and Mexican pop star Rubio are in final negotiations, sources tell E! Online.

Rowland has experience hosting, as she served as host on the eighth season of X Factor UK. "Rowland was on the highest-rated UK season," a source said. "We have a lot of faith in her as a judge."

Rubio also has experience, having been a judge on La Voz…Mexico and La Voz Kids.

Fox has yet to comment.
